Stop At: The Archaeological Museum of Mykonos. When open, enter inside the archaeological museum to learn and see the early excavations that were obtained from the heart of the island, also the popular vases from the neighbouring island of the Gods, Delos. Duration: 10 minutes
Stop At: Main Square of the Town: Learn about the impressive statue of a great Greek Heroin called Manto Mavrogeanous. Duration: 10 minutes
Stop At: The 1st bar ever opened on the Island: To learn about how Mykonos became to be known as the party island of Greece and Europe. Duration: 10 minutes
Pass By: Agia Kyriaki square and church. Walk through Mykonos’ all white painted main street. Learn and see some of the stores that have been here since 1928. Also learn about the three wheeled cars/bikes that go through these winding allies of the town to make deliveries.
Stop At: Folklore Museum of Mykonos: When open we will visit inside to learn about Mykonos’ 19th century lifestyle depicted in a well preserved middle class Mykonian home which belonged to a rich merchant.
Pass By: The famous 3 wells of Mykonos: Learn about how the locals managed to get water to use in their homes during the water shortages periods.
Stop At: Oldest and only wood bakery in Mykonos town: Learn about how these bakeries played an instrumental role in the daily lives of the locals. Here you will get a chance to taste some of the traditional delicacies baked in a wood oven.
Stop At: The Famous Windmills of Mykonos: To learn about how the windmills used to operate and when open we will enter one of them to see the full operational system.
Stop At: The Little Venice area: This picturesque spot will be one of the highlights of the day because of the amazing backdrop it offers for your photos.
Stop At: Paraportiani Church: See one of the oldest churches built from the 15th and 17th centuries and learn how it became to be 5 churches in one.
Stop At: One of the most popular bars in town. Where do people go to party at night in Mykonos? You will hear all about it here. Walk through a residential area within the town to see where the locals live. Your guide will point out multiple iconic houses.
Pass by: The local fish market and if you are lucky you might get a chance to see so fresh sea food caught from Mykonian fishing grounds. Finally we will pass by the town hall of Mykonos as we are heading back to the starting point of our tour.
